Giuliana Gori






After graduating in Florence (her native city), Giuliana Gori taught initially there and subsequently in Milan at 2 well-known schools that specialise in Italian for foreigners.


From 1992 to 2006 she taught on the Erasmus programme at the University of Pavia: the programme consists in Italian language and culture courses for foreign students on their 6-12 month placement with the University of Pavia.

At ITA2 which she founded in 2001 she has already taught to students from 67 different countries.

She is also a co-author of two text books for foreign learners of Italian:

She worked as a trainer on the professional development programmes run by the Town Hall of Milan and by the IRRSAE of Torino.

She has also held a managerial role in the Milano branch of ILSA, the Association of Teachers of Italian as a Second Language.
